This voluntary Summer assignment has officers working in pairs riding 
Trek mountian bikes. These officers patrol the Indianapolis Blvd business district, 
Kennedy Ave. business district, downtown business area, the lakefront, 
and bike paths throughout the city. Officers also participate in bike round-ups 
where childen can register their bicycle with the police department, 
and learn basic bicycle safety.
